Today’s Lesson

Daniel in the Lion’s Den

Have you ever seen a lion in a zoo? They are big and scary animals. Daniel trusted God so much that he continued worshipping God when he was warned. He ended up being thrown into a lion’s den for a night. Let’s learn about what happened to Daniel.

Try to memorize this verse today:

“Trust in the Lord with all year heart. And do not depend on your own understanding.“
Proverbs 3:5

Let’s Get Crafty

Today’s craft is all about lion’s. When Daniel was in the lion’s den, God protected him and ensured he was alright all night long. To help us remember to trust God, you get to make a lion pillow to remind you all night – every night – that God is here.

For the little ones, we also have included a lion mask craft.

Science

Today, you have a really cool experiment to try. All it needs is some pepper, water and dish detergent to see how your finger is protected. This helps us remember that God will protect us.

Who’s Hungry?

Today is all about trust – trusting in God that is. Daniel had to trust in God through everything even when he spent a night with lion’s. Enjoy this yummy lion snack.

Let’s Play!

Our game today is a fun one. Try to get the balloon across the room without dropping it. If the balloon falls – yell “Trust God“. Remember that we can trust God whenever we fall down. God is with us even when things don’t go right.
