Today’s Lesson

Fruit of the Spirit

Try to memorize today’s theme verse:

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit.“
John 15:5

Let’s Get Crafty

Today’s craft is a Guided Painting. Unlike our previous day’s crafts, you will want to watch this video while you paint your picture. Pause the video if you need to take a break. Enjoy painting a beautiful picture.

There are two options – one is more intricate for older kids while the other is easier and for littler ones. You are free to paint either one. If you are younger and would like to paint the tree, remove your heart. If you are older and want to pain the heart, take painters or masking tape, cut a heart out and put it on your canvas before starting.

Science

What we do as believers in God relates a lot to plants. Today, plant a seed and see it sprout and grow. So to our faith should grow. But as plants grow bigger, they make fruit. We are to go into our world and share our faith with all people.

Who’s Hungry?

God’s love is always with us. Make this delicious craft to remind you to not only know that God love you, but also to try to love all other people as well.

Let’s Play!

What a fun week we have had together. These last two games require you to work with someone else. The first is a challenge – to work together to accomplish a task of your choosing. Remember, that together we can share God’s love.

Secondly, to remember God’s love for us, play a heart scavenger hunt. Have a sibling or parent hide the hearts and try to find them around your house.
